Had a meeting with Marylin, office admin for ARBHTA, today. After asking what they do and how the service their customers, I learned that I will not have to worry about setting up any systems to work outside the current office. Though I may have to set up a back door to allow for file sharing in case the office is closed and the heads need files. Web sites will be maintained by UAF and Marylin, separate of the internal file systems. After my interview I asked to look over the hardware. List as follows;

Four desktops running XP pro SP3 (Head guys office was closed so could not verify his).
Four laptops two running XP pro two running MAC X

I am a slacker with dreams of having my own business.

Just think of a store where people can come in like an Arcade but with Xbox360, Wii's and Computers. I have taken Business classes a few years ago and now i am going through IT courses to get a handle on security and networking. I have dabbled in that sort of thing before but now I feel ready to take on the world.

New class now this is my Independent Project Blog

As I start going on this independent project, I needed to post this;

Now that I got that out of my system and the first weeks of classes are about out of the way I can start work on this. My project will take one of two routes. Finding an internship or developing incorporating my business plan and all that I have studied over the past year. If I am unable to find Work with a local business then this part of the independent blog will be sealed off from public consumption until I actually do start my business.
